For The Self-Represented With Family Law Matters

We Assist And Guide You

We see many people trying to handle their family law matters on their own. The main reason for this is the high legal fees associated with hiring a family lawyer.  A secondary reason is when the person is unaware of the complexity of the legal process and goes into it with the opinion that their knowledge of the issue(s) will be enough.

The legal environment, however, is not set up for the lay person to easily navigate. As a result, we see self-represented individuals getting frustrated with the process, acting and speaking inappropriately and doing themselves a disservice during their legal proceeding. The frustration is generally related to their lack of knowledge of the relevant laws; their interpretation and application of the relevant laws; their understanding and adherence to the rules and procedures of the legal proceedings; and their understanding of the questions, instructions, directions and/or orders made by the court and/or judge.

We accordingly offer affordable assistance and guidance with your family law matter for
