A Claim for Injury-related Damages Through the At-Fault Party

A BI claim is for injury-related damages you suffer as a result of an automobile accident. This is a third-party claim. You go through the auto insurance company of the person who was at fault for the automobile accident you both were involved in. The insurance company will compensate you for your accident-related losses and expenses up to the liability limit.
